India, June 7 -- Fans, we have an update on the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. The next chapter of the saga is finally in progress, as confirmed by director Nag Ashwin in a recent chat. The filmmaker confirmed that the shooting for Kalki 2 will begin shortly, with the production crew preparing to step back onto the sets for the renewed film.

According to Aakashavaani, Nag Ashwin confirmed that the production team of Kalki 2 is actively preparing for filming. He said, "Kalki 2 has already begun. We are making preparations to continue shooting from next month and complete it at a rapid pace."
