India, Sept. 28 -- The Japan national football team came from behind to beat the Venezuela national football team 2-1 in their September-October international friendly on Monday, September 28. The match was played at Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima in Hiroshima, Japan, as Hajime Moriyasu's side followed up their impressive 3-1 victory over Uruguay on September 24 with another win.

The result extended Japan's winning run in A-match fixtures to two games, marking a strong response after Uruguay had earlier defeated Japan before going on to beat South Korea. While Korea endured a difficult outing against the South Americans, Japan showed greater resilience to turn their game around and secure another positive result on home soil.
