India, May 31 -- Japan are set to take on Iceland in an international friendly, which also marks their last home game before the FIFA World Cup 2026. The match will be held at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo on Sunday. Placed in Group F, the Samurai Blue will kickstart their World Cup campaign with a big game against the Netherlands. Hajime Moriyasu's side will be keen to leave the homeland with a positive result against Iceland, who will not be part of this World Cup. The European outfit, however, will try to put up a challenging display before going head-to-head against Argentina in a friendly next month.
