India, April 2 -- In a significant boost to technology-driven policing, Jammu and Kashmir has secured the top rank among Union Territories on the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) CCTNS Pragati Dashboard, reflecting a major stride in modern policing and citizen-centric service delivery across the region.
The achievement, as recorded on March 1, 2026, comes on the back of sustained and focused efforts by the CCTNS team of the Crime Branch of J&K Police. While J&K topped the UT category, Delhi secured the first position in the overall national ranking among all States and Union Territories.
