India, July 9 -- After months of uncertainty, Jana Nayagan is finally heading to theatres. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay's final film has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), ending a seven-month-long certification battle that delayed its original Pongal release. The H Vinoth directorial has reportedly received an 'A' (Adults Only) certificate and is now expected to hit theatres on July 24.

Jana Nayagan Gets 'A' Certificate

According to news agency PTI, industry sources confirmed on Thursday that Jana Nayagan has been granted an 'A' certificate by the CBFC. An 'A' certification means the film can only be viewed by audiences aged 18 and above.
