India, July 30 -- Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited political action drama Jana Nayagan, which was promoted as his final film before entering politics, has completed its first week at the box office. While the film opened on a strong note, its collections have witnessed a gradual decline through the weekdays.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Jana Nayagan earned an estimated Rs 6.10 crore net in India on Day 7, taking its total India net collection to Rs 149.50 crore. The film's India gross collection currently stands at Rs 174.63 crore.

With its overseas performance included, the Vijay starrer has reached a worldwide gross collection of Rs 255.63 crore after seven days of release.
