India, July 24 -- Jammu and Kashmir School Holiday Tomorrow (July 25): The Jammu and Kashmir government has extended the summer vacation for schools in the Kashmir Division and the winter zones of Jammu Division until Friday, July 25, following fresh warnings of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and possible flash floods issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The decision comes as authorities prepare for adverse weather conditions that could disrupt normal life across several districts.

Officials have also suspended the Amarnath Yatra temporarily as a precaution while monitoring the evolving weather situation.
