India, Dec. 26 -- Even as a political row has erupted over Aravali, the Indian Youth Congress on Friday announced that it will hold 1,000 Aravali Satyagrah Yatra from January 7.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, IYC chief Uday Bhanu Chib claimed that the BJP government first polluted country's culture, and now it is preparing to pollute our environment as well.

Talking about Aravali mountain range, Chib said that they are not just mountains, they provide security to North India.

"The Aravali hills work to control water levels, pollution, and temperature, while also preventing the 'desert' from advancing. At the same time, they have been preserving our culture for many years," he said.
