India, Oct. 29 -- England striker Ivan Toney is set to stand trial in summer 2028 over an alleged assault at a nightclub in Soho, central London. The 30-year-old footballer is accused of headbutting and punching Saber Da Silva during a confrontation at a venue on Wardour Street on December 6, 2025.

Toney, who is from Northampton, has previously pleaded not guilty to the charge. The case is scheduled to go to trial in 2028, with the allegations yet to be determined in court.
