India, Oct. 11 -- YouTuber Dhruv Rathee returned to his family early Sunday after Gurugram Police detained him ahead of a planned demonstration in Delhi. The protest, organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), sought the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.

Rathee was picked up from his residence in Gurugram's Sector 56 at around 9.30 am on Saturday and released at approximately 3 am, according to police officials.
