Iran warns UK against allowing US to use bases for strikes
India, Aug. 2 -- Iran has warned Britain against allowing the United States to use British military bases for attacks on Iran, saying such cooperation would amount to an act of aggression and give Tehran the right to act in self-defence.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi conveyed the warning during a telephone conversation with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on Friday.
Araghchi said that any assistance to the United States, including under existing defence agreements, would be "unacceptable."
