India, April 15 -- Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have encountered a major setback in their IPL 2026 journey as England pace bowler Brydon Carse has been officially declared out of the tournament. Carse, who was bought by the franchise for INR 1 crore, met with a severe hand injury in a net session while he was batting before the season opener. Though head coach Daniel Vettori at first was quite hopeful about his comeback, the non-stop swelling on his bowling hand has ultimately caused him to be out of the tournament.
