India, Sept. 3 -- Apple is preparing to enter the foldable smartphone market, and a new price leak has given consumers an early indication of how expensive its first foldable iPhone could be. A reported Vodafone Australia leak has surfaced ahead of Apple's September 9 event, with 3 storage configurations allegedly carrying prices of up to AUD 4,699.

The leaked pricing covers 256GB, 512GB and 1TB variants. Apple has not confirmed the device's name, specifications or pricing yet, so the figures remain unofficial. However, the leak arrives as several recent reports point to a premium foldable iPhone with a large internal display, a thin design and Touch ID instead of Face ID.
