India, Sept. 21 -- The latest Instagram outage news is attracting attention after Instagram users in the US and other countries complained about the service. Downdetector indicated over 5,000 Instagram outage reports in the US, and there were complaints from users in other countries such as Canada, Australia, Chile, Bangladesh and the Philippines.

Downdetector Shows User Reports

Downdetector recorded 5,653 reports of Instagram being down at about 6:51 a.m. compared to 21 reports that would normally be expected, according to the sources. These numbers suggest an abnormal spike in reports.
