India, Aug. 21 -- The Insidious franchise has returned with its sixth film, Insidious: Out of the Further and horror fans have a lot of catching up to do. The supernatural horror series, created around the terrifying realm known as The Further, has now expanded to six movies, with the latest chapter introducing a new family while bringing back one very familiar face.

Out of the Further released in Indian cinemas on August 21, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film stars Amelia Eve as Gemma, a young mother who discovers that she can enter The Further - and, more terrifyingly, bring entities from that realm back into the real world. Lin Shaye also returns as Elise Rainier.
