India, Sept. 23 -- India's women's hockey team will return to action at the Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday, September 23, when they take on Thailand in their third Pool B match at the Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium in Kakamigahara, Japan.

India have made an impressive start to their campaign, winning both of their opening games and scoring 36 goals while conceding just one.

The Women in Blue opened their campaign with a huge 19-0 win over Uzbekistan on September 20. Deepika was one of the standout performers, scoring eight goals in the victory.
