India, Sept. 25 -- India and Thailand will meet in the first men's semifinal of the kabaddi competition after finishing their respective group campaigns. India topped Group A with four wins from four matches, while Thailand finished second in Group B with three wins and one defeat. The semifinal is scheduled for 2:15 PM JST, with India looking to move one step closer to defending its Asian Games men's kabaddi title.

India completed an unbeaten Group A campaign with victories over Japan, the Republic of Korea, Bangladesh and Chinese Taipei. Thailand, meanwhile, finished behind Iran in Group B after winning three of their four preliminary-round matches. The top two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals.
