India, Sept. 4 -- In a landmark development for the global expansion of cricket, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Japan Cricket Association (JCA) have jointly announced a historic T20 International between the two nations. The fixture, dubbed the Suzuki Cup, will mark the beginning of celebrations commemorating 75 years of India-Japan diplomatic relations, taking Indian cricket into uncharted territory and introducing the sport to a fresh East Asian audience.
