India, July 23 -- The Indian sub-junior men's hockey team will be looking to continue their dominant run when they take on Bangladesh in their next outing at the FIH Youth Hockey5s Asian Championship 2026 in Muscat, Oman. Placed in the Elite Pools, the Indian boys have already triumphed in two matches, one of which was against Bangladesh. They first crushed Kazakhstan for an 8-3 victory to open the campaign in style.

As the Youth Hockey5s Asian Championship represents a qualification tournament for the next Youth World Cup, India hope to make a strong statement in the continental showpiece this year and book their berth at the global showpiece.
