India, June 12 -- After a one-sided showdown in a Test, Team India are now set to host Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series, beginning on June 13. Shubman Gill will continue to lead the Men in Blues in the 50-over format, with Shreyas Iyer serving as his deputy. Meanwhile, former skipper Rohit Sharma has returned to the fold after a long time. Virat Kohli, however, has missed out due to an injury struggle. The veteran top-order batter was initially called up for the ODI series against Afghanistan, but based on his medical condition, Kohli was later replaced by Yashasvi Jaiswal.
