India, June 6 -- For a tournament like the Indian Premier League (IPL), where the performances are often considered for selection in each format of the game, no player being picked from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the latest Indian squads raised a few eyebrows. As the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Indian T20I squads for tours to Ireland and England, as well as the Asian Games 2026, fans questioned the decision not to pick any of the players from RCB. Led by Rajat Patidar, RCB became only the third team to successfully defend the title. However, despite all of that, there was no place for any of the players.
