India, July 29 -- Hockey India has announced a 20-member Indian men's squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with Harmanpreet Singh retaining the captaincy as India prepares to defend the gold medal it won in Hangzhou. The tournament, scheduled from September 19 to October 4, will see the men's hockey competition played at Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium in Kakamigahara, with the champions also securing direct qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
