India, June 8 -- At least 23 parties have confirmed their participation in the INDIA bloc meeting in New Delhi today, June 8. The Congress party, along with other opposition parties, has called a joint meeting to determine their future course of action. Congress has maintained that the opposition alliance remains united despite its diversity. The meeting which will be attended by key parties including Congress, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) is expected to discuss the alliance's future strategy, including preparations for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
