India, New Zealand hold Second Defence Strategic dialogue in Wellington, Focus on Maritime Security and Military Cooperation
India, Aug. 25 -- India and New Zealand convened the second edition of their Defence Strategic Dialogue in Wellington on August 24, during which both nations explored avenues to enhance maritime security cooperation, strengthen military-to-military interactions and broaden overall defence engagement following the recent elevation of their bilateral ties to the level of a Strategic Partnership.
The high-level talks were jointly chaired by Amitabh Prasad, Joint Secretary in India's Ministry of Defence, and Richard Schmidt, Deputy Secretary in New Zealand's Ministry of Defence.
