India, Aug. 8 -- The Indian batters put on a commendable show on Day 2 of their tour match against Sri Lanka Cricket XI in Colombo. Devdutt Padikkal shone the brightest. After Yashasvi Jaiswal's early dismissal, Padikkal showed great composure and anchored the innings, joining hands with KL Rahul. The duo stitched 95 runs before the stand-in captain returned to the pavilion with 40 runs. Among others, Ravindra Jadeja announced his return to Test cricket with a statement knock. The veteran all-rounder added 63 to the board before leaving the crease.
