India, Sept. 5 -- Immortal began its theatre run on a solid start. On the first day, it collected Rs 95 lakh. The film, Kayadu Lohar's starrer, includes G. V. Prakash Kumar in an important role. At the start, the numbers were not very high. Later in the day, things improved. The shows in the evening and at night did better than the daytime sessions. That pattern points to more people choosing to watch it as the hours passed. Because of this push near the end of the day, the film heads into the weekend with some lift. In the coming days, we will see if Immortal can keep that pace and draw in a bigger crowd.
