India, July 4 -- India's campaign at the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup ended in disappointment after the team was eliminated in the league stage. However, the country will still have a representative in the tournament's biggest match. The International Cricket Council has appointed Indian umpire Vrinda Rathi as one of the on-field officials for the final between hosts England and Australia at Lord's on Sunday, alongside Jacqueline Williams.
The 37-year-old, who hails from Nerul in Navi Mumbai, will officiate in her first-ever Women's T20 World Cup final. Rathi brings significant international experience into the summit clash, having stood in 20 Women's ODIs, 77 Women's T20 Internationals, and one Women's Test match.
