India, June 29 -- The International Cricket Council (ICC), in association with the International Olympic Committee, has finally announced how teams will earn their spot for the return of cricket at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. It's not just making a return to the sport's top multi-sport occasion; it will be more than a century when the L.A. Games debut an eight-team format for T20 cricket, with both men's and women's T20 international cricket included.
