India, Aug. 8 -- IAF Officer Arrested Latest Update: An Indian Air Force Wing Commander was arrested on May 30, 2026, for allegedly sharing sensitive defence-related information with a Pakistan-based intelligence operative after reportedly being honey-trapped through social media, officials said on Saturday.

The officer, who was posted at a field unit on the Western Front, came under surveillance by the IAF intelligence wing after his online interactions with a woman raised security concerns. The matter was subsequently brought to the attention of law enforcement agencies.
