India, Aug. 2 -- West Indies made a strong statement in the opening Test of the two-match series, defeating Pakistan by 90 runs in Trinidad to take a 1-0 lead. All-rounder Justin Greaves starred with the ball, picking up seven wickets across the match to earn the Player of the Match award. Despite a few promising phases, Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, were undone by repeated batting collapses that ultimately cost them the contest.
