India, Sept. 1 -- Haryana School Holiday Tomorrow, September 2: The students and parents of Haryana are verifying whether the schools in their district would be closed tomorrow on September 2, 2026, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared a heavy rainfall alert for Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.

There has also been an alert of thunderstorm and lightning, making the weather conditions of the area an important issue for the students going to school however, weather alert and closure of schools are two separate issues altogether. Till now, there has been no official declaration of closure of all the schools of Haryana on September 2.
