India, July 20 -- Grand Theft Auto VI is shaping up to be one of the biggest video game launches in history, and Rockstar Games has now provided its clearest update yet on the release timeline. After months of speculation over possible delays, parent company Take-Two Interactive has reaffirmed that GTA 6 remains on track for launch later this year.

The company has also confirmed key details about the game's platforms, pre-orders, pricing and editions, while several features including the PC version and online mode are still awaiting official announcements.
