India, Aug. 29 -- GoPro is taking a major step beyond the traditional action-camera market with its first interchangeable-lens model, the Mission 1 Pro ILS. The new camera combines FoPro's compact design philosophy with a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, giving filmmakers more control over focal length and creative framing than the company's fixed-lens camera.

GoPro has opened pre-orders for the Mission 1 Pro ILS at $699.99, while existing GoPro subscribers can purchase it for $599.99. The camera will reach retailers globally on September 2, 2026. The company is also launching its new Mission Monitor app on the same day, giving creators a larger screen and additional tools for managing focus and exposure.
