India, Aug. 7 -- The Indian gold market had another robust day of trading on 7 August 2026, where gold and silver managed to continue their uptrend on growing optimism about global economic conditions, along with the possibility that the US Fed might postpone any monetary policy tightening and this rise was evident both in the domestic market and on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

On MCX, silver future contracts gained Rs.8,040 per kg (3.56%) to reach Rs.2,33,876 while the gold September future contract gained Rs.2,271 (1.54%) to Rs.1,49,793 per 10 grams.
