India, Sept. 10 -- Gold prices in Vietnam remain flat, even though prices of the precious metal went up to $44 worldwide. This is a good sign & indicates that demand for gold in the Southeast Asian country is currently stable. Investors are currently looking for any clues regarding the Federal Reserve's upcoming interest-rate decision.

Domestic Rates

On September 10 (Thursday), domestic rates of gold have remained unchanged, despite some signs of a rise. Currently, gold bars in Vietnam are priced at approximately VND 143.6 million per tael on the buying side. The domestic market stayed fairly steady, even as international gold prices bounced back by roughly $44 per ounce.
