India, Sept. 25 -- On September 25, gold prices in Vietnam notably fell by VND1.1 Million. The decline seemed to be caused by the dollar, currently at a two month high and rising treasury yields. Currently, the prices are around VND 145.4 million per tael.

Domestic Rates

This morning, domestic gold prices in Vietnam moved lower as compared to the previous session on September 24, with the domestic selling price falling by around VND1.1 million per tael to VND144.4 million per tael. Buying prices have also declined by VND1.1 million to VND141.4 million per tael as a result. The drop followed a renewed decline in international gold prices, which slipped below $4,300 per ounce amid a stronger US dollar and elevated bond yields
