India, Aug. 5 -- The prices of both gold and silver were unchanged in the domestic market on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, due to the strong prices of bullion in the international market as well as safe-haven investment demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the future price of gold was quoted at Rs.1,45,370 per 10 grams, which was an increase of 0.78%, while the future price of silver increased by 1.08% to Rs.2,24,570 per kg. In the retail market, the rate of 24 K gold was Rs.14,575 per gram, 22 K gold was Rs.13,360 per gram, and 18 K gold was Rs.10,931 per gram.
