India, Sept. 25 -- Ganesh Visarjan 2026 will take place on Friday, September 25, bringing the 10-day Ganeshotsav celebrations to an end. The immersion is traditionally performed on Anant Chaturdashi, when devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha after worshipping him at homes and public pandals.

Devotees perform a final puja, offer bhog and seek Bappa's blessings before taking the idol for immersion. The farewell is accompanied by devotional chants, including "Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya."
