India, Sept. 10 -- Fifteen workers were rescued after a large metal slab collapsed at a construction site in the Kudasan area of Gandhinagar on Wednesday night. The incident took place at around 9 pm during ongoing construction work. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said 12 rescued workers were taken to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital for treatment. The remaining three, who suffered no major injuries, were discharged.

According to Sanghavi, all 12 hospitalised workers were in stable condition and none had sustained critical injuries.
