India, July 3 -- The road to the Free Fire tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 is officially underway after the tournament organisers confirmed the group draw for the global championship. A total of 24 elite teams from multiple regions will compete in Paris, France, for a share of the $1 million prize pool between July 15 and July 18.

This year's competition also marks the largest Free Fire event at EWC so far, with India represented by three teams: Team Apex Gaming, S8UL Esports and Total Gaming Esports iQoo. The tournament will feature a revamped format, high-stakes survival stage and grand finals, making it one of the biggest Free Fire events of the year.
