India, Aug. 4 -- Last month, a devastating wildfire broke out in Southwestern France's Var region and rapidly intensified. Now, local authorities have made some progress by stabilising the perimeter. However, the entire region, which is also dealing with the Bordeaux wildfire also remains on high alert.

Wildfire in Var Stabilised

Local authorities in Southwestern France's Var region have now managed to stabilise the deadly wildfire which has burned through 1850 acres so far. This was due to a change in conditions such as humidity. However, the Correns commune, where Var is located, is likely to face high temperatures and strong winds.
