India, July 25 -- France has been experiencing many wildfires across its different parts lately, due to wildfires. Now the French Interior Ministry has shared that over 200,000 people have been evacuated as a result.

Interior Ministry's Statement

Recently, the interior ministry of France, released an update regarding the status of wildfires. According to the statement, nearly 200,000 people have been evacuated in the south-west region of France because of the wildfires.

Out of that, 57,000 people were evacuated in the Gironde region that includes Bordeaux while 30,000 people have been evacuated in the Landes region. This marks an unprecedented record for France, with multiple active wildfires in different regions.
