India, Sept. 15 -- Philippe Coutinho has officially returned to Brazilian football after Santos confirmed his arrival on a free transfer. The former Liverpool and Barcelona star has signed a contract running until the end of 2026, bringing an experienced attacking option to the club. Coutinho had been without a team since parting ways with Vasco da Gama in February, but after weeks of speculation over his future, the 34-year-old has now found his next destination. The move also sets up an exciting reunion with Neymar, Coutinho's long-time Brazil teammate.
