India, Sept. 2 -- The summer transfer window saw a dramatic final day as Premier League clubs rushed to complete their remaining business before the deadline on Spetember 1, Wednesday. Manchester City stole the headlines by completing the £125 million signing of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, with the Argentina midfielder becoming the joint-most expensive player in British football history. City also completed a £65 million deal for Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, taking their late spending spree to another level.
