India, Sept. 16 -- Formula 1 and the FIA have unveiled the 2027 calendar, with the championship set to feature 24 Grands Prix across 22 countries along with 10 Sprint weekends. The season will get underway in Bahrain on March 14 after four days of pre-season testing at the same venue from February 24-27, before the field travels to Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan and China. Australia, Japan and China will form the first triple-header of the campaign. The calendar also includes several races in West Asia, although their long-term status remains subject to the ongoing conflict in the region. The championship will conclude in Abu Dhabi on December 12.
