India, Sept. 15 -- Widow's Bay had a huge night at the 2026 Emmy Awards by turning its first season into a record-breaking run. The Apple TV show finished the awards season with 14 wins and set a new single-season record for a comedy series. It won the top comedy prize along with several major acting, writing and directing honours.
The show had already picked up eight Emmys at an earlier ceremony before returning for the main awards night on Monday. It then won in all six of the categories in which it was nominated that evening. This makes Widow's Bay one of the biggest stories of the 78th Emmy Awards.
