India, Sept. 17 -- The controversy surrounding Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour has taken another turn. Macklemore announced that he will donate the $1 million he was set to earn from the tour to six organisations supporting Palestinians. The rapper was removed from the remaining US dates of Sheeran's tour after publicly speaking in support of Palestine during his performances in New Jersey earlier this month.

Macklemore has now said he will donate his entire net earnings from the tour to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, Heal Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA National Committee and Anera. He also challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match his donation.
