India, June 25 -- After several days of warm and sunny weather, conditions are set to change across Dundee and many other parts of Scotland. A Met Office thunderstorm warning will come into force on June 26, with forecasters warning that heavy rain, frequent lightning, large hail and gusty winds could bring travel disruption and localised flooding.

The warning covers Dundee as part of the Central, Tayside and Fife region, with meteorologists warning that some areas could receive intense downpours in a short period.
