India, June 10 -- Iran's World Cup Ticket Allocation Cancelled! Why?

With less than three days remaining before the opening whistle, the FFIRI released a formal statement accusing tournament organizers of obstructing the presence of Iranian supporters. According to FIFA regulations, every participating member association is legally entitled to 8% of the available tickets for each group stage match to distribute to their own fan base.
