India, Aug. 29 -- US District Judge Alvin Hellerstein has rejected President Donald Trump's latest attempt to move his New York hush money criminal case from state court to federal court. The ruling is another setback for Trump's efforts to overturn his historic criminal conviction.

Hellerstein ruled on Friday that Trump had failed to provide new or legally sufficient grounds for transferring the case. The judge said Trump had also failed to demonstrate the required good cause and diligence.
